Geary dove inside LO La ke over seco nd. Skokan had troubl e and faded to th e rear while R udge pa ssed Cla rk to ta ke th e fourth p ositi on behind H olmason. On the next lap. while trading pl aces tw ice. Rudge and Clark passed H olmason. By now Rogers had a co m ma ndi ng lead . with G eary pursu in g him . MaIO two finished with Rogers. Geary. Boice's 1-2 earned him th e overall win. making him th e o n lv doubl e winn er of th e night as h e also took th e o vera ll in th e 500cc Intermediate class. H eal ey's two slo w sta rts ended up as second overall . and Sequiera 's 5-4 ga ve him th ird overa ll.
