Riverside Suzuki's Kevin Montgomery was the dominating
force in the 125cc Intermediate
class at DeAnza Cycle Park,
Kevin Montgomery (119) pulled off a tough win in the 125cc Intermediate class at DeAnza Cycle Park.

Zeffel once again got the holeshot
in molO twO, with Sandell in second.
By lap two, Sandell had the lead.
When the pack came inlO the spectators' view {rom the lower portion of
the course, Sandell was nowhere to be
seen, and Carson had overtaken Zeffel for the lead. Carson proceeded to
run off and leave everyone behind for
his second win. Sandell surfaced in
22nd place, covered with mud. By
moto's end, he had charged through
the pack lO finish sixth, taking third
overall behind Carson and Harrison.
It was Carson's second overall victory
of the day, as he had earlier taken the
80cc Expert class win.
