CHAMPIONSHIP
VOL. 55 ISSUE 14 APRIL 10, 2018 P49
day—if there was any silver lining, it's that it would
be a full-on mud race, and not one of those "it
was muddy, but now it's drying out, so now we
have to jump everything with sketchy, hardening
ruts" sort of events that usually leads to injuries.
And in the two shortened main events, it
was Aaron Plessinger (Yamalube/Star Racing
Yamaha) and Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Kawa-
saki) doing work on the sloppy surface, taking
seemingly easy victories on a night when a lot
could've gone wrong for any of the frontrunners
in either class.
MUD
Eli Tomac (3), Marvin
Musquin (25) and
Jason Anderson
(21) all got off to a
fast start in a muddy
Seattle Supercross.
