Bell takes great pride in a physical
training. He needed all of it during the
event, which required every bit of his
fitness.
"I like the go-go-go non-stop
format," said Bell. "I'm pretty fit and
I like to use that to my advantage to
get faster as I do more laps. I'm a little
timid in the off-road, but I was able
to put some time on them. I felt really
comfortable on the outdoor track so
I just kept clicking my laps. On that
last loop I didn't know what to expect,
but I had a lot of fun. Justin Jones is
a veteran at this, so he knows how to
stay steady. I'm a rookie, so I made
that mistake and I was down on time.

Bell had to make a comeback after
he had a get-off during the enduro test
on Saturday. Riding his 3 Brothers
Husqvarna, he rebounded on Sunday
to take the overall win in the tight event
by just 25 seconds over 14 separate
loops.
"I fell over on the single track and
had to push the bike up the hill," said
Bell, who will defend his Big 6 Pro
Championship this season, as well
as running the entire WORCS Series,
and select hare and hounds events. "I
was in second Sunday and just rode
consistently, so I'm pretty happy. I'd
