a bike far out of my league—general commut-
ing, touring, hard road riding and hopefully some
racing—to which Tom Moen, KTM's press officer
said, "yeah, okay."
That was it. A $17K bike released to a frothing
import. A man of few words, Mr Moen.
I've had lots of long term press bikes in the past,
yet have never focused solely on the aftermarket
parts available from that manufacturer, so this one
is going to be a little different. Our Super Duke will
become a rolling auto show of KTM Power Parts.
Tom has effectively given me free reign of this part
of the company, and as of right now, I am every
porky kid in history and KTM is Willy Wonka. I'm
going to get seriously, disgustingly fat. And it's go-
ing to be awesome.
