"I pulled a holeshot, and I'm
not always the best off concrete,
so I was pretty happy with the
start," said Sutherlin. "I got out
front and just really truly rode a
good pace the whole time. The
fast wide-open track isn't my cup
of tea, but it is all good. I'm not
happy with getting second of
course, but my hat's off to Robby
[Bell], he rode a great race."
RPM/KTM's Eric Yorba scored
his second straight Pro podium,
and he kept pace with the top
two for the first half of the race,
as he continues to gain speed
and confidence in the pro ranks.
RPM/ KTM's Travis Coy
claimed a fourth-place finish
with Precision Concept's Justin
Seeds rounding out the top five
in the pro class.
In the Pro 2 Class, Justin
Wallis charged his way into the
early lead with Dalton Shirey and
Starr Savage going down in the
first turn. Once out front, Wallis
ran away from the pack and, not
only claimed an impressive win,
but he also finished third overall
by finishing one second ahead
of Eric Yorba. For Wallis, it was
his third win of the season. Pro 2
points leader, Shirey, rebounded
to claim the second spot fol-
lowed by Starr Salvage.
In the Pro 2 Lites class, Mitch
Anderson claimed his second
win of the season after charging
his way from a midpack start.
