Tomac promised a win at Thurs-
day's press conference and he
delivered on Saturday afternoon,
coming from behind to win the
main event by 12 seconds over
newly crowned champ Dungey.
Dungey came from behind,
too, and at one point it looked
like he had enough fight in him
to take it all the way up to Tomac,
but then it seemed as though he
made the decision to pick his
fights and settle for second.
For Tomac, the Honda rider
started just inside the top five
after sneaking around the inside
of turn one.
