pace and Pegram still managed
to score a couple of points in
race two despite feeling really
unwell.
"So far so good," Pegram said
about the team's first outing.
"Nick [Canepa] is doing a good
job, we are way ahead of where
we were last year, and he wants
to be up at the front. I am like,
'hey, step-by-step.' Also, testing
went well and we do not have to
be there every time."
As it's a long season, Phil-
lip Island was a good debut for
Pegram and his American crew
that he assembled and brought
over with him.
"Well, one is Canadian, but
we do not let anybody know
that," he joked. "Everybody is
cool. One of the guys, Grant,
was working in the World Super-
bike team last year so he was
not part of my AMA crew… But it
is funny because everybody who
is working with us has been part
