Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Ka-
wasaki rider, Baggett, respond-
ed to Martin's win last week by
claiming his third overall victory
of the season.
Unless something drastic hap-
pens, it appears that the Dung-
ey/Roczen and Martin/Baggett
battles are destined for a major
showdown at the series finale in
Salt Lake City.

Dungey's Delight
Ryan Dungey put a stop to the
bleeding, at least temporarily,
in his pursuit of the 2014 Lucas
Oil AMA Pro Motocross Cham-
pionship title chase. Up until this
weekend, Dungey's teammate
Ken Roczen has had all the mo-
mentum and, in fact, has been
rather dominate the last few rac-
es. But Dungey reasserted the
number-five KTM back into the
title conversation with an impres-
sive overall victory after going 2-1.
Since Roczen went 1-2, Dungey
didn't gain any ground on Roczen
in the points, but he did gain some
confidence. And after Roczen's
1-1 domination at RedBud last
week, many were already talking
of a Roczen championship, but
Dungey put a stop to that conver-
sation. At least for now.
