and this time it was a winner-take
all affair. Dungey closed the gap
late in the race as the front-run-
ners hit lapped traffic but it wasn't
enough to keep Roczen at bay.
"We made quite an adjust-
ment on the bike for the second
practice and it was fine for one
lap because the track was a lot
wetter and softer," Roczen said
about his suspension. "It abso-
lutely didn't work out in first moto
for me since the track got harder.
I didn't like that set up the whole
race but we changed it all back to
the way I'm used to riding in the
second moto and it was good."
Going 1-2 in both motos of
the day, Dungey and Roczen
finished with identical moto re-
sults, but Roczen's better finish
in the second tie-breaking moto
gave him the edge and another
overall win. With no points being
exchanged between Roczen and
Dungey at Tennessee, 16 points
still separate the pair at the top of
the championship standings.
"All in all it was a good day,"
said Dungey. "I pushed it that
whole second moto. I tried [to
close in on Roczen] and got for-
tunate with the lappers coming in
