of cool jumps, which always makes
the race more enjoyable."

Jeremy Martin finished the first
moto in Colorado the same way
he's finished every other moto this
year: with a win. However, Martin
admitted that he has been lucky to
be able to get the holeshots at the
first two rounds and be out front
right away, however, in the first
moto at Lakewood the Yamalube/
Star Racing Yamaha rider proved
he can come from behind and win,
taking his fifth straight moto victory
in the opening 250 moto of the day.
"I didn't get off to the best start,
but I just started picking off riders
and I was able to do that, then Nel-
son made a mistake and went off
the track and I was able to take the
lead," said Martin.
In moto two, Martin had a rela-
tively slow start, finishing lap one in
seventh, and then he bobbled on
lap nine which dropped him back to
ninth, leaving him in a hole that was
difficult to recover.
"I was kind of slow on the first
lap of the second moto, but once
I got my groove I started to make a
move," said Martin. "I switched a
line up and unfortunately I lost the
front and went down.
"I want to win, and I was where
I wanted to be at the start of the
season and I think it took a little bit
