P80
the race and dropped to fourth,
although he managed to work his
way back into third by the end of
the race, taking advantage of a
crash by Cooper Webb on lap 10.
In the second moto, Bogle
found himself in third right on
Christophe Pourcel's rear fender,
after working his way up from fifth
after the opening lap. With five
laps remaining, Bogle passed the
Valli Yamaha rider to take second
for the moto and second overall.
"It was tough battling Pourcel,"
said Bogle. "He was definitely
holding me back and making it
a challenge to get around him. I
eventually got into a good posi-
tion and made the pass around
him and into second. It was the
best moto for sure.
"In the first moto I got a really
good start. I was out front but
went down, so I went back to
fourth and finished the first moto
in third. Second moto I felt great,
took another great start out of the
gate and finished in second be-
hind Blake."
The 250's were most affected
by the altitude, making setup
crucial, however Bogle was right
there with the best in the 250
class.
"The elevation was a little bit of
a curve ball with the bike," Bogle
Jeremy Martin might have finished
third overall on the day but he
still extended his points lead over
Cooper Webb.
