good day. This was the toughest
enduro I've done in a long time; it
was pretty tight with a lot of rocky
single-track. I was glad it was
over because it was a hard day."
Fahringer was pleased with his
runner-up finish, which marked
his best finish of the year.
"We're getting better with each
race," said Fahringer. "I came
into this race with new suspen-
sion settings, and I struggled a bit
in the first two tests. But we came
back to the truck after the sec-
ond test and made a couple of
changes and that made a world
of difference."
In all, Fahringer won two tests
and finished second in two after
posting the eighth-fastest and
fifth-fastest times in the first two
tests.
DeLong, on the other hand,
was second fastest in the first
three tests, but had problems
near the end of the race and gave
way to Fahringer.
