Perhaps the most consistent
rider of the day was Bakken
who finished third in all six tests
but still ended the day in fourth
overall by some unlucky conse-
quence.
"At least I can be happy with my
consistency," said Bakken who
finished second at the previous
round in Tennessee. "I just went
into the first two tests and tried to
be smooth. I felt like I could have
been a little faster but I just didn't
want to do anything stupid early
on in the race. I picked it up a lit-
tle later on in the race, but it was

"I struggled in the last test,"
said DeLong. "That test was re-
ally hard to read the trail and I
crashed a couple of times. I was
trying to over-ride it because I
was trying to catch Nick, when
I should have just rode my own
pace, but I'm learning. My bike
worked great and I'm happy for
my team, we're finally getting the
results we were looking for. I've
got a lot more confidence on the
bike, even though I've only been
riding it for two months now. I'm
