made a really big mistake — I de-
cided to go into a fence. It took
me a little bit to get out and I
had to let Eric go by. After that,
I seemed to make a little mistake
on every lap. It ended up making
me overheated and pretty much
half of the race I felt like I was
going to quit or throw up. I didn't
know how I was going to make it
through."
Seeds slid back into the field as
Blayne Thompson and Jacob Ar-
gubright charged their way to the
front. Thompson's bid in the run-
ner-up position didn't last long, as
a mechanical issue forced him to
retire early in the race. Argubright
also ran into misfortune soon af-
ter he found his way into second
place. The factory Husqvarna rid-
er slid out on the high-speed truck
track section of the course while
setting up for a turn. A low-side
crash sent him face-first into the
tarmac, and it looked as though
Argubright's day was about to be
over.
Joey Schoeningh was faster than a speeding train.
Justin Seeds was
an early leader
but couldn't hold
off Yorba.
