Adam Cianciarulo was happy
to make it straight into the main
event from his heat race after a
mechanical problem caused his
Pro Circuit Kawasaki to slow on
the final lap. However, the cur-
rent 250 SX East Regional points
leader parlayed a great jump off
the outside of the gate into a third
place slot on the opening lap and
then went to work on Davalos in
second.
Cianciarulo passed Davalos on
lap five, but by then Baggett was
long gone.
"Blake made it happen really
early to get around Martin and by
the time I got around him Blake
was gone," said Cianciarulo. I
didn't do anything special, but I
put in 15 good and smart laps on
