SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 5, 2013 OLBIA, SARDINIA, ITALY OFF ROAD P38 88TH INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS ENDURO Zach Osborne was one of two US Trophy Team riders to win a final moto. Mike Brown also took a moto win. National Enduro champ Charlie Mullins finished a strong eighth in the competitive E2 division. On day one, the U.S. World Trophy Team got off to one of its bestever starts to a Six Days, finishing second at the end of the day behind a French team that was represented by no less than four FIM World Enduro Champions. With France out front from the get-go and pulling away, most of Team USA's week was spent battling with Team Australia for second. The two countries traded the runner-up slot a couple of times before the Aussies ran into problems on day five and dropped to fourth when Glenn Kearney's bike had electrical problems, moving Italy up into third behind the Americans. At one point it looked as though mistakes might doom the Americans. DuVall was docked 60 seconds for going backwards on the course, and Mike Brown fried a clutch and almost missed a check trying to get it replaced. At that point, the final motocross test was more or less a formality for both the French and for the Americans, as it would have taken a disaster for either team to lose the first and second position, and that didn't happen. Team USA pretty much dominated the motocross tests, with Osborne winning the E1 moto and Brown winning the E3 moto. Both riders had huge leads at the end of the five lap races. In the E2 race, Italian Trophy rider Alex Salvini grabbed the holeshot and led to the finish, with French Trophy rider Loic Larrieu in second and Mullins making a strong ride to finish third. Spaniard Ivan Cervantes was fourth just ahead of a hard-charging Caselli. Taylor Robert got off to a bad start and was back in the pack after the first lap but managed to work his way up into 11th by the end of the race. In addition to Robert's fifth overall in the final E2 standings, Mullins finished the week eighth in the final standings, with Caselli in ninth. Osborne finished his first Six Days in sixth overall in the E1 division, with DuVall not far behind in eighth. After a slow start, Mike Brown
