However, Mullins didn't seem
phased and sealed the deal with
an impressive run in the final test,
going 15 seconds faster than
Russell Bobbitt, while Groemm
dropped all the way down to sev-
enth-fastest in the test.
The final result was a minuteand-a-half victory by Mullins over

BRAD BAKKEN
5TH O/A
Brad Bakken has had an up and down year and the Black
Coal Enduro kind of went the same way, he struggled in
the beginning but found his groove near the end. "This was
a little different from what I'm used to, kind of tighter than
normal, although it wasn't tight from trees, it was from the
twisty trail, so I struggled a bit in that stuff," said Bakken.

bit more moisture in it, so I felt a little more comfortable in
that and I was able to pick up my pace."

RUSSELL BOBBITT
7TH O/A

that meant Bobbitt was blazing new ground for most of the
race. "I just had kind of a mediocre day," said Bobbitt. "I
just couldn't find that flow that I like to find. I got off the trail
once and got turned around and that cost me some time. I
didn't have any crashes, but I just didn't have any real fast
times."
