Dungey still finished a solid 2-2
for second overall and will finish
second in the championship,

another moto had he not given up
25 points with a DNF at RedBud

And what about Stewart who
was only two seconds off Villopoto's pace? The Yoshimura
Suzuki rider looked fast for a few
laps of the first moto before pulling out of the race for the rest of
the day. He's been dealing with
a neck/back injury for a couple
of weeks and when he cased a
jump at Miller tweaking his back
again - that was it, he pulled
in. That decision was probably
made a bit easier since he was
not a fan of the Miller track, nor

Honda Muscle Milk's Trey Canard made a great recovery at
MMP after his point-less day at
Unadilla the week before, where
he suffered the biggest crash
since his near career-ending incident at the Los Angeles Supercross last year. He said he was
thankful that he walked away
from that one last week and
came back to finish on the podium at MMP with a pair of thirds. If
he finishes next week at Lake Elsinore, it will be the first in his pro
career that he finished out a full
season without getting seriously
