had lost in the pits, however, and David Probst got back on the bike for the Probst Brothers. Probst and Lantz were only seconds apart until Lantz had to pull back in again for fuel. Another lengthy pit stop put him back into fifth place. The American Flyers scored the easy win, while the Probst Brothers placed second. Yoho claims Dade City MX win By Kyle Myers DADE CITY, FL, SEPT. 27 Riders from six states and Canada competed in round two of the AMA/World Sports Florida Gold Cup Series, held at Dade City Raceway and Kenny Yoho topped the 250cc B class. Nearly 400 riders rode on the new, improved, extended track. As the 14-rider field left the gate, Yoho led the way with Bobby Moriarty, John Lake, John Fesler, and John Harris in hot pursuit. Moriarty fell on the opening lap, moving Rodney Reber into fifth. Yoho quickly pulled away, while Reber motored by Harris. Fesler then had problems and let Reber, Ed Kiley, and Benton Smith by. Reber then crashed on the tabletop jump, and Kiley and Bryan Abel shot by. Yoho held on for an easy win, topping all the riders except A class rider Derek Youngblood. Lake, Kiley, Abel, and Harris rounded out the top five. Lake blasted his Kawasaki out front to start the second moto with Yoho, Abel, Kiley and Moriarty in his roost. Abel, Kiley, and Moriarty battled for third, while Yoho passed Lake in the back section on lap two. Kiley flew by Abel, as Fesler moved by Moriarty after starting mid-pack. Fesler then passed Abel, as did Reber on the last lap. Kiley jumped by Lake on the last lap for second. Yoho held on for the win over Kiley, Lake, Fesler, and Reber. In other racing action, Derek Youngblood won the 250cc A and 16-24 year-old classes. Results +25:1. Ed Kiley (Hon); 2. Wyn Kern (Hon); 3. Lee Mcllvaine (Hon); 4. Rick Perry (Yam); 5.
