Plessinger finished third for his first podium of the 2025 season. The Factory Red Bull KTM rider shot out of the gate on Saturday night and quickly took over the lead on lap four. For a time, it looked like Plessinger could challenge for the win, but Roczen and Webb passed in quick succession. After losing the top spot, he was shuffled back to fourth but later found a second wind to repass his teammate, Sexton, with three laps left. Plessinger is always a fan favorite, and sporting a Dale Earnhardt number-three T-shirt to cele - brate his third-place finish only seemed fitting. Some guy came up to me in the pits and had his old jersey that he raced with back in the day; that was something I never had.
