MILITARY
APPRECIATION
ROUND
Washougal marked the military
appreciation round of the Pro
Motocross Championship. Many
teams and gear companies got
in on the action with one-off
graphics and patriotic designs.
An F-15 flyover and a veteran
parade lap also highlighted the
day's festivities.
THURSDAY NIGHT
MOTOCROSS
The Thursday Night Motocross
is a staple series in the Pacific
Northwest and offered a big
money payout on the Thursday
before the Washougal National.
The event coincided with Fly
Racing's 2025 gear launch and
several big-name pros turned up
for their share of the prize mon-
ey. Rock River Yamaha's Grant
Harlan topped the 22-man main
event just ahead of the "Dash
For Cash" winner, Ryan Breece.
Harri Kullas finished third.
OLIVEIRA ENTERS
Reigning NGPC Champion
Dante Oliveira entered the
Washougal National and quali-
fied straight into the motos with
the 16th quickest lap time.
Unfortunately, the FMF KTM Off-
Road Team rider fell in the first
moto and suffered a broken col-
larbone. Luckily, the next NGPC
race is over two months away,
and he enjoys a 44-point lead,
which is more than one race.
