Deegan found himself with the
better end of the wishbone,
taking the day's overall win with
2-1 finishes. An early tip-over in
race one sucked the air out of
his sails as he rode most of the
race in a no-man's-land second
place. He saved the best for last
and pulled a daring move to take
the top spot away from Tom
Vialle in moto two and rode off
with an impressive win.
Deegan said of his second-
moto performance: "I put the
hammer down and built a big
gap. That was awesome."
It was Deegan's first moto win
since Southwick, seven motos
ago. His points lead has grown
to 54 points, giving him more
than a two-moto cushion.

Dylan Ferrandis and Malcolm
Stewart again duked it out just
outside the top five, going sixth
and seventh, respectively. Fred
-
die Noren, Christian Craig and
Marshal Weltin rounded
out the
top five.
250MX
The 250MX races saw the usual
suspects up front, flip-flopping
results with one another. Haiden
but fell and dropped to fifth. A
fourth in race two didn't do him
any favors either.
"I'm looking forward to re-
evaluating after this weekend,"
said Lawrence.
"I've kind of
been struggling since RedBud—
it just seems like I haven't been
the same since that crash. It's
been two weekends in a row
that I haven't even had one good
moto in me, which is extremely
uncharacteristic."
Lawrence is still second in
points but is now a distant 28
points behind Sexton.
Justin Cooper rounded out
the top five after a podium in
moto one and a holeshot in
race two. Unfortunately for him,
a crash in the early laps of the
