Sexton finished third but never
got a chance to mix it up with
the two Lawrences after starting
in sixth and having a few minor
setbacks along the way. He got
within sight of the Hondas at one
point but stalled his bike. The
Red Bull KTM rider crossed the
finish line 37 seconds behind the
two Hondas.

maha's Justin Cooper was fourth
in the moto, 45 seconds back and
just two seconds ahead of Red
Bull KTM's Aaron Plessinger.
Moto two saw three different
leaders. The first was Kawasaki's
Jason Anderson, who led the
Hunter was the early leader of
moto one, but a small bobble al

lowed Jett by. For the remaining
12 laps, Jett led Hunter but could
never let his guard down. Despite
the throbbing shoulder robbing
him of strength late in the moto,
he managed to hang on and take
the checkers less than a second
in front of his brother, making it a

top 10. Moto two was way better, and
we made some changes on my bike
that I was happy with. It felt good to
lead some laps and battle up front,
but I know I have more." Anderson is
placed sixth in the championship, 41
points out of first.
