However, good weather pre- vailed on Saturday, but the racers struggled with an extremely difficult track to navigate with all the deep ruts and spotty slick conditions. 450MX Jett Lawrence came into the High Point National dealing with the worst of his multiple injuries, his shoulder, which he sustained two weeks ago after his crash at the Hangtown National. "This weekend wasn't the best for me," he said. "In qualifying, my times looked promising, but I felt off the whole day.
