On the last lap, Anderson charged
the whoops into the final turn and
caught Webb by surprise. The two
made contact, putting Webb on
the ground and Anderson on the
box. This is the third podium this
year for the former champ as he
sits fifth in the overall rankings.

signs of speed early in the night
and kicked things off by capturing
a heat-race win. In the main, he
used creative lines, such as a tri-
ple into the sand to move around
Tomac, and he later set his sights

Pierce Brown was one of the six
riders in contention for a podium
in the 250SX main event but
crashed spectacularly over the
finish line on the final lap. He re-
mounted unscathed and finished
14th. "One lap to go for a po-
dium," he said. "Man, that hurts.
We're not done yet."
