Last weekend in Nashville,
the then-current points leader,
Cameron McAdoo, suffered two
crashes, which forced him to
withdraw from the night. During
the week, he confirmed a broken
scapula and the end of his 2024
Supercross campaign. With
McAdoo out for the count, Tom
Vialle took over the points lead
going into Philadelphia and led
by 13 over Haiden Deegan.
Max Anstie threw a wrench in
the mix, as neither of the title fa
-
vorites took the win on Saturday
night.
The British veteran topped
third, and was able to move into
second. I was riding really well,
but unfortunately, I got a really
bad arm pump again. Then it
was unfortunate in the last turn,
losing that spot to Jason. So,
I'm pretty bummed, but we'll re-
group this week and come back
swinging.
This is racing, so it's
not over until it's over."
Webb's teammate, Eli Tomac,
finished fifth after running
up front in the early parts of
the main event. Justin Barcia
grabbed sixth after battling the
day's fastest qualifier, Hunter
Lawrence. Malcolm Stewart,
"Today I just started finding
some lines near the end of the
main event and I was able to
make a run," Anderson said.
"With Coop [Webb] there, at the
end I was charging, and I knew
the only way I could do it was
trying to go around the outside
in the whoops. I tried to squeeze
him off and he didn't want to let
go but I just want to be up here
on the box."
Despite his last-lap fall, Webb
remounted and crossed the line
in fourth. He lost seven points
on the night and is now 12 down
from Lawrence.
"It was a tough main event in
Philly," Webb said. "In the main,
I got a great start, with Eli in
Max Anstie scored his first
win of the year.
