But with moments to spare, Daniels' crew got his bike running and semi-operable and 1 JARED MEES 3RD SUPERTWINS A third-place finish during a 10-race podium streak might just prove the pivotal result in the title defense of In- dian Racing's Jared Mees. "Oh man, it was Peoria. I love this place, but I love getting out of this place as much as I love going into it," he said. "It was a solid day for us. I felt really good earlier on and then kind of lost touch there. In the main, I was holding pace with Dallas and Briar and thought I was inching up here and there. I had a big moment and felt like I was going to just settle in for fourth and then [I got] a little Lucky Dog award in the championship with Dallas crashing. "I felt really good during the day— fast qualifier, won my heat and ran second in the Challenge. In the main, they dug the track up and watered the outside, so we were kind of running above the groove. That was a little bit MYOWNRACE Bauman (3), Dallas Daniels (32), Jared Mees (1) and Beach (95) kept the fans entertained as they battled it out Sunday afternoon.
