He's now finished seventh three races in succession, and, in his last six outings, Vanderkooi has finished seventh four times and one position removed from seventh in the other two. He said, "I struggled quite a bit early on trying to adapt to the track. We were bouncing between our 1 and 2 bikes and kind of had different set- tings on each of them. We ended up meeting in the middle to find a comfort area. I had a decent heat race and then got a great launch in the main, but then [got] sucked in on the bottom there and people were rolling me on the top. So I buried myself early, but, hey, seventh, I feel like I do this every week. We'll take it and move on." 25 BEN LOWE 9TH SUPERTWINS Prior to the main event, Rackley Rac- ing's Ben Lowe did not get much time on the track, so it was a minor miracle he somehow managed to make his way inside the top 10 at the end of the night.
