Seller CAROGA LAKE, Y, JULY 5 Bruce tratton won both the 125 and 250cc Expert classes at the Royal Mountain Motocross, in an event that was nearly halted due to the severe thunderstorms. In the 125cc Expert race Stratton dominated, even catching Open Expert class leader John Youngs, who had SlaTted on the row ahead of the small bores. In the 250cc Expert race, Stratton won both motos over Rob Nessel and Youngs, simply outclassing the competition. The largest field of the day was in the 200cc Novice class, and Andy Cristiano pulled a nice moto one holeshot before falling in a whoop section and recovering in fourth. Aaron Crouse moved into the lead, which he kept until the last corner, when he fell and let Alain Bates cruise in for the win. Cristiano got serious for moto two and turned in a flawless moto win, and Bates followed him in for second place. Cristiano was awarded the overall win and Crouse, who finished the second moto in fourth, earned second overall. The latest on two wheels! every week! Want to go racing?
