RIDER DOWN
Three riders that weren't on the
line Saturday night were Justin
Brayton, Dylan Ferrandis and
Stilez Robertson. Brayton crashed
spectacularly through the whoops
during qualifying and unfortunately
did not pass concussion protocol.
Ferrandis and Robertson both suf-
fered minor injuries to their wrists
that hindered them from racing.
LAPPERS
Lappers were a key point of
discussion through the last two
weeks of racing. With short lap
times and a blistering pace, the
race leaders are having to navigate
further and further through the
field. The 450SX class lapped up
to seventh place while the 250s
got all the way up to sixth.
FINES
The AMA was keen to throw out
a few fines this weekend starting
with Alex Ray and Devin Raper.
The two privateers collected
each other in their heat race,
then proceeded to brawl it out on
the track. Both were disqualified
from the rest of the night. Justin
Barcia was also fined $3000 and
three championship points for his
altercation with Jason Anderson.
Barcia claims the pass was not
dirty, but he is riding under proba-
tion after incidences from earlier
this year.
