ROUND 8 / FEBRUARY 16, 2022 AT&T STADIUM / ARLINGTON, TEXAS P62 SUPERCROSS I MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES "I think we're riding really good," Anderson said of himself and Tomac. "It's hard for each of us to break away from each other. I feel like if he's in front it's hard for him to break away from me, and if I'm in front it's hard for me to break away from him. We went over the finish one lap and I wanted to square him up, but he read me like a book, so it was hard to do it. It's a game, but we're ripping while we're doing it so it's pretty awesome. I guess that's what the fans need, and I enjoy racing like that." Cooper Webb seems to be finally finding his groove. He won the first race and put his number-one KTM on the box for the second week in a row. Cooper backed up his first- race win with two fourth-place finishes to lock down third on the night. "Unfortunately, I just didn't perform today, even though I was leading the first main event and doing great un l I stalled the bike and lost momentum. I just need to be be er. It was a tough day, physically, and the feeling with the bike was just not good, so it's especially tough when it's a Triple Crown with three races. In the last race, I ended up going down off the start with someone else and got burned on the back a li le bit and from there, it was done." 44 PIERCE BROWN 12TH (15-19-2) 250SX "It was a tough day, but we didn't quit, so I think we ended it off on a good note," said Pierce Brown. "We started the day off a li le rough. In qualifying one, I crashed and knocked the wind out of myself, and it took me a li le bit to get up. That kind of snowballed into Q2 and I had some mistakes in the first two races, so it was a tough day un l moto three when I finally got off to a good start, put my laps down and rode like myself. Overall, it's not the day we wanted but I'm just happy to re- bound from the tough day that we had." Defending champ Cooper Webb seems to be finally sorting things out after winning the first race and finishing out the night on the podium for the second week in a row.
