HAMPSHIRE STRUGGLES RJ Hampshire (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) finished third in the first 250SX race but a crash in race two sent him back to pits early after he tangled with another rider off the over-under jump. Hampshire returned for the final race but things only got worse for him. After getting a 10th-place start, he hit the rear end of another rider and went down with two laps to go. Due to concus- sion protocol, Hampshire was not allowed to get back on the bike. He was credited with 16th place on the night (3-20-20). TOUGH WEEK FOR KTM The KTM Red Bull Factory Racing Team lost two of their riders to in- jury this week as both Max Vohland and Aaron Plessinger were not on the gate in Arlington. Vohland found small cracks in his collarbone after a crash in Minneapolis, while Plessinger suffered a broken arm in a practice crash. SUPERCROSS FUTURES Another round of the Supercross Futures took place in Arlington where we finally got to see Honda's Chance Hymas go up against Ryder Difrancesco. Kawasaki's Difrancesco has gone undefeated in Futures events this year and won again even with a crash. "I'd love to get a win soon, its round eight, and it still hasn't happened yet. I feel like I'm back to that mindset and that's the goal. Even tonight, I was bummed after going down and not being in the mix like I was in the first two." Webb is currently fourth in points, just two back from Stewart. Sexton, Stewart and Justin Barcia were the other three riders to touch the podium in Arlington. Sexton was cleared to ride after a scary race-ending crash last week- end. He ran up front all night in Texas and went 4-3-5 for fourth. Stewart looked to be a front runner and was leading race one until he got collected by Anderson. His 5-6-3 moto finishes were good enough for fifth overall. Barcia showed some flashes with 2-7-6 finishes. He led some laps in race one but ran into troubles later on. Justin Barcia (51) got off to a good start with a second in the first race but finished off the box in the other two races.
