VOLUME 59 ISSUE 9 MARCH 1, 2022 P61 MYOWNRACE 23 CHASE SEXTON 4TH (4-3-5) 450SX "Arlington, I guess, was okay," said Chase Sexton who rebounded nicely a er crash- ing and hi ng his head in Minneapolis. "I finished fourth overall with 4-3-5 moto scores. It wasn't ideal but I'm happy to be back racing a er last weekend. I felt fine on the bike all day, but I didn't really execute that well with my starts, which didn't put me in a great posi on. In the second race, I didn't ride that well." 94 KEN ROCZEN 13TH (9-16-10) 450SX It was another ba le for Ken Roczen who slipped to ninth in the championship. "The race here in Dallas was a be er start to the day," said Roczen. "I felt a lot be er about myself and was able to put in some good qualifying laps. I haven't been that far up on the board in a long me, so overall this was probably the first race where I was actually having fun. Come the night show though, that all turned around because of how slick the track was—they watered pre y heavily. I was really struggling with the bike and with trac on, resul ng in a lot of crashes which is very unlike me. It was another very frustra ng weekend." Arlington Supercross 450SX Highlights racing for me. It was exciting, me and Jason making a bunch of passes on each other, and it was just a fun night of racing. Can't complain about these things at this point, another overall and just a good weekend." With his third win of the sea- son under his belt, Tomac keeps the points lead at just six over Anderson. Anderson again showed that he wants to win. He's already got three wins to his name in 2022 and Texas almost became his fourth. A mistake in race one re- sulted in Anderson and Malcolm Stewart going down while Ander- son was attempting to pass for the lead. This ultimately cost An- derson the overall win and didn't help Stewart any, either. Races two and three showed the real "El Hombre," as he came from the back to take the lead and even- tual victories in both races. His 6-1-1 finishes were just one spot short of the win, but second over- all keeps him only six points back from the championship lead.
