Kawasaki believes in riding safely. Check local laws before you ride. Member AMA and MSF. But the bike has to be tuned for a.long, hard, hot, and very fast season. This bike was. Eddie's machine never faltered, never broke. Not once, That's says a lot for the tuner and a helluva lot for the bike. And Eddie's not easy on the motorcycle. Anybody who wins this kind of championship has to ride the wheels off one. Ask Mike. Or Wayne, or Wes, or Steve. RACING PEOPLE Eddie rides it but somebody has to get it there. And set it up. And check the gearing. And the tires. And the track and the competition and everything else that makes a championship. Hyou don't have the people, you don't have a team. And if you don't have a team, you won't have a trophy. We've got the best. We've got Kawasaki people. Team manager, Gary Mathers. Crew Chief, Rob Muzzy. Tuner, Ken Funkhouser. Dick and Dave from Kerker. Ralph and Rich from KalGard. And the folks from Champion. Wayne didn't exactly have a bad rookie season, either. Only Eddie and Mike went faster. Kawasaki believes in winning. With good equipment and good people. And sharing the experience. That's why you can buy a Lawson KZ1000R Repli-Racer from your Kawasaki Dealer. Or, if you ride like Harry Klinzmann, a KZ1000Sl Real-Racer from Kawasaki. But Kawasaki also believes in the sport. And the sport makes for Good Times. Like winning the 1982 Superbike Championship, etc. Congratulations, Eddie. .K awasaki Let the good times roll.
