Cha m bers took the victo ry in bo th of the 80cc Stock and Modified Intermedi a te 12+classes. In past races David has had some mi nor tro u bles, and tonigh t h e experi enced some more trouble as he fell once bu t escaped inj ury. Chambers was the only 80cc Stoc k Intermediate cont estant, bu t he battled the Juniors who put u p quite a -ba ttIe. In the fin al rno to , Chambers fell in a tricky corn er and a p paren tl y h urt his arm. Fortunatel y, it was noth in g seri o u s. He h as already experienced one bro ken arm, and th a t wa s enoug h . Traveling Ma tt Harrison took over the lead as the top Junior and wo n hi s class overall wi th a perfect I- I tally. Kurt Dama to's 3-2 tally earned h im second ahead of Ro b Sassen. It wa s clear to all tha t Chambers was alrig h t wh en he took th e holeshot in the final race of the 80cc Mod ified Intermedia te class. Ron Sassen was just a short di stance behi nd as the top J u nior. There were several 9-11riders involved in separate classes. Jason Vanderpool took the 80cc Modified Junior 9-11 wi n while Ro n nie Densford of R&D Racing Products won the 80cc Modified Beginner 9-11 . race. Densford brough t out a ne w Suzuki and looked fast. Tony Sulek had a great nig h t wi th a win in the 60cc Stock Intermedia te 9-11 race and a seco nd p lace in the 80cc Stock Begin ner 9-11 class. In th e . 80cc class Ronn ie Densford took the win on h is new Suzuki. Sulek had a brief lead in the final m oto but was soon passed. While all of the other bikes were ho t two -stro kes, Ronald Krueger rode a Honda XR , and it was good to see a new com pe titor even if he was out-powered by th e rest. Results PEE WEE BEG STK: 1.
