125 ENDURO.
Don and Derek Rickman have a
new concept in motorcy cle making.
They produce a lim ited quantity of 125
Enduro bikes each year for America .
And they're hand-made, to the specifications of two champion British Motocross racers- Don and Derek Rickman.
These are mach ines made with the
persona l care that you could only find
in a com pletely hand-made bike costing much more. And you might not
even be getting as much.
To begin with, you can only get
a Rickman frame from the Rickman
Brothers. Everybody wants a Rickman
frame, because it is a masterful combinati on of ligh tness , balanc e, and
strength.
The spe c ial Ric kman frame is
cratted of high-strength, steel alloy
tubing, the kind they use to make jet
planes. All joints are pro file fitled, and
bronze-welded for sure, strong bonds.
And Don and Derek coat every frame
with nickel for a bri lliant finish. The
Rickman frame is unmatched for superb handl ing, strength, and control.
Th e eng in e is a Zundapp 125 ,
known all over the wo rld as the 125cc
engine that thinks it' s a 250cc. Combin e th is powe r w ith a ligh twe ight
frame, and you've got a winning combination.
Anothe r great thing about the Endu ro is that it' s now " street legal" with
specially baffled mufflers that cut down
on noise. Most manufacturer s take a
road bike and adapt it to the trail-the
Rickman Brothers do just the reverse.
