Creek, not so much.
Roczen officially caught Musquin on lap 11, but Baggett was
still coming, and while Musquin
tried to duplicate his moto-two
performance at High Point (where
he held Roczen off for the entire
moto to take his first-ever moto
win), Baggett simply caught them
on lap 13, passed Roczen a lap
later, and then passed Musquin a
lap after that and pulled away.
Baggett's fastest laptime of
the moto came on that 15th of 17
laps; a 2:00.190. No one else in
the moto had seen a single laptime below 2:02. It was Baggett's
first moto win of the year.
Musquin held on for second
while Roczen grabbed third.
"I saw Roczen and Baggett
coming on my rear wheel and I
did [make] a mistake with a lapper," Musquin said. "It costs me
maybe four seconds [that] lap.
But they were coming back. I
tried my best and Baggett was
faster. I mean, he just passed
me really clean and then pulled
away."
Anderson and Tomac rounded
out the top five.
