3 ELI TOMAC
10TH (11-10) 450MX
Eli Tomac once again didn't produce
the results expected of him. "Today
didn't really go the way I expected it
to," Tomac said. "This is my hometown
race and I really wanted to give the
local fans something to cheer about,
but I'm having some trouble finding my
rhythm right now. My fitness is where
it needs to be, and I feel comfortable
on my [bike]. It's only a ma er of me
before I start finding my rhythm again
and ba ling at the front of the pack."
MYOWNRACE
2 COOPER WEBB
8TH (8-8)
Cooper Webb has been ge ng good
starts but has been struggling to main-
tain the speed to stay up front. "We're
kind of searching again," he said. "We
made a lot of bike changes today and I
actually felt a lot be er in the second
moto. I felt like we made the bike a lot
be er, and I was feeling like I finally
had some speed and could run up
front and then I had a li le p-over.
That spiked my heartrate, and I got all
flustered and got passed for ninth, but
I got back into a good flow and was
able to catch Marvin with two to go.
It's a li le bit of progress."
