Janniro's defeat of Hedden propelled Bast to the title and left the other two tied for second with 13 points apiece. Hedden kept his head up and obviously didn 't (and three po ints) , ahead of Ian Ferris, while in the las t heat of the round, Bast topped Janniro , whose o p en in g -t u rn bobble cost him any chance at the win.
