Buckelew tried different lines to try to catch up to Pingree, but Pingree's pace and line selection were consistent lap after lap, and he held on for the first-moto win, followed by Buckelew, Campbell and Schlensig. It rained sporadically throughout the day and parts of the track were getting slick, so the Pros got a sight lap to look things over before the start of the second moto. Buckelew and Pingree were side by side into the first comer, with Campbell trying to squeeze into the inside. Then Noble grabbed too much throttle, went across and ended up going over backwards on the step-up jump. Luckily, no one was coming, and Noble got turned in the right direction. Blose took the win, followed by Petrie, Pearcy and Noble. On the last lap, Chollar passed Higgins for fifth. VN bled over a tabletop jump, letting Pingree get closer. Buckelew then bumbled his timing through the whoops and Pingree was within five bike lengths when the white flag came out. As the two came onto the start stra ight, Pingree was right on Buckeew's rear wheel. Both Buckelew and Pingree took the inside line on the plateau, Pingree hoping to force a mistake out of Buckelew. Pingree then tried to outjump Buckelew on the stepup jump before the whoops, but Buckelew held on for the moto win and the overall by just a bike length. Campbell was third, followed by Schlensig.
