....., Jl ~"-. second overall. Perry Grimsley hung on for third overall with a good effort. The I25cc C class was the largest of the day, with 35 riders on the gate. Matt Tisdale won the overall by placing third in the first mota and second in the final mota. Tim Burke came down from Canada and took second overall with a final-mota win. Cameron Ptak used his Honda to earn the final podium position. When the finish order is this jumbled, that indicates hot heated the action was. The 250cc B was also a good event. Ashley Vickery used his Kawasaki to win both motos for the overall victory. Honda rider Brent Carden won the battle for second overall, over Yamaha man Josh Davis. When the Youth (12-15) gate fell, it was Honda-mounted Tyler Horn winning the overall with a last-mota victory. Vickery won the first mota, but a third in the final mota kept him in the runner-up spot. Collen Crosby hung on for a solid third overall. The Four-Stroke class thundered off the line, and at the finish it was Carden taking the overall. Kyle adam, on another red machine, won the final mota for second overall. Lee Tatham from Florida took the final podium spot, making it another all-Honda affair. Tatham used his Honda to win the Over 30 class. Suzukimounted Tommy Martin took home the second-place money. Honda-mounted Michael Hoffman put together a good ride for third overall. Willie Phee, in his final ride on his 2004 Honda, took the Over 45 win going away. Kevin Matthews, on another Honda, locked up a solid second overall. Bobby Staggs scored the final podium spot to wrap up another Honda sweep. Almost 400 riders made the trip out, and the event ran smoothly. As the track called Echeconnee fell silent as the motorhomes pulled away, their drivers and passengers were looking forward to the next race in the sand. RESULTS SO Oll-INJ: I. Gary Dennis (Yam); 2.
