S Y amaha+ unted Matt Wilson has been the mo to p performer all seaso n long in the competitive Intermediate classes, and this day was no differen t fo r the rider from Euge ne . At roun d tw o of th e Oregon State Moto cr os s C hampio nsh ip Series, held at Alba ny Moto rsports Park, Wilson w alloped the competition in the 12Scc Int e r med iat e , Be fore The Hill Inter med iate and Fo ur-Stro ke classes to match the mark he set at the o pening round . Wilson was amazing in his trio of wins . The former min lcycle champion isn't far off the Pros' pace. and he appears to be on the verge of a promising Pro career once he 's of age . On this day, Wilson first stor med to th e win in the Four-Str o ke cla ss, beating Suzu ki ride r Erik Meusling and Gran t Hays. Th e o nly riders to finish ahead of Wilson all day lon g were Pros Ryan Terlecki and Michael Ho rban, who were contesting the adjo ined 2S0cc Pro class. The high point in Wilson's day came in the Bef ore The H ill Interme diate/ O pen Pr o contest, in which he bea t Terlecki to the finish in mo to two. In all fairness, however, Terleck i, who dominated the opening mota, gated in last place in the mota and progressed through the 17-ride r field to trail Wilson and second-place rider Kevin Petrushkin at the finish. W ilso n' s hat t r ic k wa s co m ple t e afte r scoring du al moto wi n s in the 125cc Int er me diate class, where he was trailed by Pe t ru shkin, Aaro n McC linto n, Jake O be rel e and Robert Wu llbrandt overall. O regon's Terlecki seems rejuvenated after a le ngt hy layoff fro m AMA N a t io nal a nd supercross competi tion , and he made a rare lo c al appearance . Rid ing the Herb 's Cycletown/Sinisalo-backed Yamaha YZ4S0F, Terlecki won the 2SOccand Open Pro classes. In the 2SOccPro class, Terlecki beat Kawasaki rider Horban for the overall win, although Ho rban still maintains the class points lead after two rounds. Fo rmu la O ne Novice classes.
