DiFrancesco and Scott Brant , who was stuck behind the
numbe r-tw o rider and cou ldn't make any headway on the fast
inside groove. Chad Felicia was fourth , Shawn Harmatluk was
fifth, and Faria rolled across in sixth place.
Beneath the rising full moon, the ever-popular Sidecars made
their second and final visit of the year to the Gold Country
Fairgrounds and didn't disappoint the sold-out crowd. After
some hotly contested heat races , the duo of driver Joe Jones &
passenger Brandi McElroy put on a super perfonnance in the
main, dominating the race after the second-running driver, Mark
Adams, lost his rider, Jackie Bennett, on the second lap.
