The first race of the evening blasted off, with I 2 riders
contesting the Unlimited B class. Tennessee boys ruled the race.
Yamaha pilot Andrew Wisdom of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, new
out of the gate and smart ly completed his flight in Ilrst place. His

finished seco nd , and Suzuki's Ale x Pappas of Greenbrier,
Tennessee, claimed th ird . Jeffe ry Coates finishe d fo urth bu t
accumu lated enough points to hold on to first place in the series
points standings .
Orange dom inated the 65cc ( 10- 1I) class, w ith the three to p
finisher> all aboard KTMs. Tres Waldroop of Hayesville, North
Carolina, claimed the champio nship in first place , with Bre nt
Jernigan in second and Coby Coleman tak ing the third pod ium
position. T he trio also qu a lified with the top three winning
pos itions earlier in the day.
Michael Miller d rove all the way from Missouri to compete in
the two -day event. After su rviving a recent heart attack and
three bypass surgeries, the 42 -year-old Miller managed a fifthplace finish in t he 2S0cc D class, be hind Jeff Jackson, Robert
Ardry, Todd Gibbs and Ch uck Arno ld.

Victory Sports hosts the best event of the year • every year! The
track was gre at - very technical but lots of fun," stated Miller,
wh o added that the best moment of the weekend was watching

Pre sto n, w ho earned first place, ahead of Team Green's Josh
Whitmi re in secon d and red rider Scott Graves in th ird. The top
2S0c c Pro honors w ent to Ho nda 's Clinto n Shealy from
Ga ines ville , Flo rida ; his Hond a teammate Kris Sw a ney o f
Ringgold, Georgia, was second, and Suzuki's Kyle Preston from
West erville , O hio, placed th ird .
