Hatten moved his 996 ahe ad of Cha rles by the end of lap one and set his sig hts on the lead. By lap fou r, Hatten had closed in on Podolsky. On th e nex t la p, he put his 996 into the lead and held on for the victory. Podolsky and Hatten met agai n in the So und of Th under contest. Hatten gr abbed the lead b y tu rn t wo . T hen Po do lsky beg an t o pr essu r e Ha tten. Going into turn six on lap fou r, Podolsky o utbraked Hatt en to gra b the lead . Podolsky went on to pu t his Apri li a on top of the podium . On Sunday , Hatten g rabbe d th e holeshot in Battle Of T he Tw ins. By lap th ree, Podol sk y had hi s Aprilia ri gh t be hi nd Hatt en . and he made th e pass and hun g on for th e win . Th e roles were reversed in Sound of Thun der . Hatten got ahead of Pod olsk y and held hi s lead until the end .
