he contested. Dirt got the holeshot in both five were Spear, Cope, Corey McDarby and David Szymansky. Kruger led the pack out of the first tum in the second Collegeboy moto but was quickly relegated to second by Wisniewski. Rounding out the top five were Spear, McDarby and Cope. Wisniewski pulled out to another good lead, but not quite the whopper he had in the first moto. The top five were spread out by the third lap, and the rest of the race was a snoozer. Wisniewski got the second-moto win and made it look rather easy. with an advantage of almost 20 seconds. Rounding out the top five were Spear, McDarby, Kruger and Cope. Wisniewski topped the Collegeboy-cJass podium with a perfect 1-1 score. Spear's consistent 2-2 rides gave him runner-up, and McDarby rounded out the podium with a 4-3 score. motes of the 30cc Beginner class. In moto one, he held on for two laps before he fell in the woods section and was passed by Ed Wagner, Mike Boehnke, Josh Stauffer and Kelly Ensor. Chapman led moto two for 2 1/2 laps until he spun out and was passed by Jonathan Brazel, Wagner, Stauffer and Kelly Ensor. Stauffer finished in the top spot overall, followed by Ensor and Stauffer. Chapman took fifth. The only female rider, Ryane Gordon, placed 14th. Drew Ivey earned the "First-ta-Worst" award in the 125cc Junior class. Riding with a terrible migraine, Ivey got a horrible start in moto one but managed to work his way up to second place, behind Nick Holum, who was riding an orange bike. Kaz Wirkus was third, followed by Kevin Steere, Brandon Picot and Justin Benzel. Ivey got a better start in moto two but took a spill and faded back to finish 15th. The second-moto win went to Holum, followed by Wirkus and Steere, and the overall results mirrored those. Cole Scott, Cameron Jungers, Ryan Walsh and Sierra Bragg all duked it out in the 60cc Intermediate class. Scott and Walsh looked like they were joined at the hip for most of moto one until Scott pulled away on lap three for the win. Walsh finished second, with Jungers and Bragg in hot pursuit and finishing third and fourth. Moto two saw best friends Scott and Jungers go at it for three laps until Scott pulled ahead for the win. Walsh finished third, with Bragg in fourth. The podium spots went to Scott, Jungers and Walsh, and Bragg was fourth overall. Round sponsors Renthal, Hansen's Energy Drinks and EVS had tons of cool giveaways for riders throughout the day. The Skagit Powersports Holeshot Awards went to Dustin Ralston in the 50cc Open class and Derek Campbell in the Beginner Open class. Factory contingency money was available to red, green and yellow riders sharp enough to place well.
