Nafzger had a great night, scoring a quartet of victories. the shoreline, the 2003 Saturday Night Under the Ughts Ice Race Series finally kicked off on January 18 in front of the Sunset Tavem and Marina on Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin. This series is run under the direction of racing enthusiast and fonner motocrosser Tom Glimmer, who built a fine fifth-mile track on the lake in front of his tavem. After the nonmal round of heat races for the eight classes, the finals started with the Over 50 class. Dan Schmitt charged to the front on a 125cc Kawasaki and led for a lap until the shock blew and he couldn't hold the line, Bob Smith charged around on his 400cc Yamaha. Halfway through the 10-lap race, 72-year-old Rich Waldbuesser, on a 600cc Yamaha, drove around Schmitt as if he were parked and charged after Smith.
