Fiscus and Kreinhagen had a great battle for the win in the 125cc C class. The two riders fought hard throughout both motos, with Kreinhagen taking the first-moto win after taking the lead with a lap to go. Fiscus took the lead from Kreinhagen on the first lap in moto two for the win, but Kreinhagen pressured Fiscus the entire moto. Fiscus (2· 1) won overall, in front of Kreinhagen (1-2). Mark Smith finished third on a Thumper Racing/Fox's Cycle Yamaha, with Kelly Lee finishing fourth on a Hoosier Hilltoppers Yamaha. Blake took the holeshot in the second moto and went wire to wire for his second moto win, in front of Smith and Woolls. Smith finished second with a 3-2, edging out Woolls (2-3) and Lee. Smith had better results in the Over 25 A and Over 30 A classes, taking the holeshots and all four mota wins. Smith headed Woolls and Lee in both Over 25 A motos, while Honda rider Jeff Steinrock finished second to Smith in both Over 30 A motos. Tom Meiers had a great day on rus Yamaha, leading every lap for all four moto wins in the Over 25 B and Over 30 B classes and finishing second to Stein rock in both Over 40 motos. Yamaha-mounted Jared Hamm finished second in the Over 25 B class with a 3-2 tally, in front of Honda pilot Randy Diehl (2-30). Suzuki jockey Greg Rowland finished second in both Over 30 B motos, with Diehl finishing third again. Brandon Boswell also had a great day, leading every lap of all four motos of the 16-24 and Heavy B classes on a Honda. Yamaha rider Joseph Gardner finished second in both Heavy B motos, and Yamaha-mounted Matt Blake finished second in both 16-24 motos. Rick Thomas also had a great day in the mud, taking all four moto wins of the I 25cc B and 12-15 Youth classes on a KTM. Comer Motocross Park Corner Rounds Up a Crowd By MATTHEW HOLT CORNER, AL, NOV. 2 Corner MX Park had the Alabama crowds turning out in droves. This weekend's race was round 21 of the Alabama Championship Series, and some 326 entries showed up for racing, along with the spectators to go with them. Many of the local Pros put on a show: Chad Ward, Josh Thompson, Tim Castrone, Lonnie Brown and several others hammered the track, making it look easy. Some of them were using this event to get ready for this year's Supercross season. In the 85cc (14-15) class, newly Suzukimounted Jonathan Dove and Yamaha rider Corey Byrd were working hard for that firstplace trophy. Byrd got the holeshot in moto one, and It looked like he was going to go the full five laps in the lead, but as the moto wound down, Dove was steadily gaining. With a lap or so to go, Dove made the pass and put enough distance on second place to ensure himself of the moto win. Dove took first, followed by Byrd and Drew Smith in second and third, respectively.
