Gravity Park: Garrett Hojnacki (281) gets to the turn first ahead of Todd Grube (90), who went on to garner the overall 125cc B win via 2-1 scores at round six of the Northern Cup Series in Chilton, Wisconsin. YZ250F to get past Grube. but Grube showed his peers who was the boss on this Saturday afternoon. Wallace (1-2) settled for second overall. and Zambon rode to strong 3-4 finishes for third overall. Kodl went 5-6 for fourth, and Stroebel rode to fifth overall with 4-7 tallies. "Zambon grabbed the holeshot but I stuck my front wheel in and took over the lead," Grube recounted. "Craig Wallace was Mght on my tail the whole race. We had two great battles today. It was tough getting the win. It was clean. fun, and I was glad to be a part of it.' A few riders scored perfect back-ta-back moto wins on the day. Sheena Haws took home wins in the Women's class. Ryan Nystrom won the Pee Wee Junior class, and Nathan laPorte keeps winning in the Pee Wee Senior division. Travis Frassetto won the Mini Junior aOce class. Alan Jonas again won the Masters Over 25 and Vet A Over 30 classes. Brian Lachman put together two good moto finishes in the Vet B Over 30 class. Mel Piontek beat out Leo Sieber in the Over 50 Senior division. Jesse Zambon led the way in 125cc A and 250cc A competition. "Flyin' Ryan" Ehlenbach went back to back in 250cc B racing, as did Dan Van Daalwyk in the Open class. Over 40-something Shawn O'Brien got some redemption in the Non-Current Vintage class, fighting off a second-moto charge by Mike Donnan.
